The Next Generation Science eXemplar System

NGSX is designed as a professional learning system with the vision and capacity to support the multiple roles involved in changing science education– teachers, principals, curriculum supervisors, instructional coaches, EL specialists who support science learning, preservice faculty and state science supervisors. Each role is critical to supporting teachers and students to make the shifts in teaching and learning advanced in NGSS and the Framework for K-12 Science Education.

Project Resilience

Project Resilience is an initiative that envisions a future where STEM education becomes the driving force behind sustainability and resilience. In a world where the challenges of climate change and environmental crises loom large, we recognize that STEM education is the key to shaping informed and proactive problem-solvers. Our project empowers STEM educators with comprehensive support, immersive learning experiences, and cutting-edge resources to prepare students for real-world problem-solving. By integrating sustainability and resilience into STEM education, we're not just teaching facts; we're nurturing a generation of change-makers who will create a more sustainable, resilient, and food-secure world. NGSS Phenomena

NGSS Phenomena is a project designed to be educative and support educators in learning more about phenomena-based instruction. The goal of this project is to continue to build an ever-expanding source of free open access recourses for anyone to use with their students. While these materials range in topic, our hope is that sharing these will help educators nationally who are working hard to create equitable opportunities for ALL students in science.  

Our Mission is to provide high-quality, equitable, and inclusive STEM professional learning at scale, so that all educators have the skills and knowledge they need to create a more just and equitable STEM education system for all students.
